Addiction & Recovery

We are currently placed on the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) Screening and Assessment Provider listing. Placement on this listing enables us to offer services as a DWI Screening and Assessment Provider. All screenings, assessments and, if applicable, recommendations for treatment are consistent with the standards of care and practices outlined by OASAS regulations.

Many individuals faced with a DWI may be in denial about the existence and/or magnitude of their alcohol or substance abuse problem and consequently may not accurately answer a written screening questionnaire. Therefore, we provide a comprehensive face-to-face series of interviews including a psychosocial history, as well as an inclusive chemical dependency/abuse history.

We also offer short term goal-oriented substance abuse counseling as well as educational and treatment focused groups for adults coping with anxiety, anger management, depression, post traumatic stress (PTSD), and with a wide range of addictive behaviors (alcohol, substance abuse, compulsive spending, internet pornography and video gaming).

A standard DWI assessment is $240.00. Once an appointment has been scheduled, our report will be available within 3 business days from the completion of the final interview.

We work closely with clients and their attorneys and accept referrals on a daily basis.

If you are a parent, spouse, partner or child of someone struggling with an addiction, it may be difficult to find a way to cope with your feelings – which at times may be confusing to you.

It is important to be able to establish clear and safe boundaries so that you can remain supportive without unknowingly enabling the addictive behaviors to continue.

Counseling is available for family and friends as well.
